Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our culinary team. In this role, you will contribute to creating a positive serving experience by assisting in food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Operation Hours are Sunday (10 pm - 12 am) and Monday - Thursday (Day Shift: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm / Night Shift: 10 pm - 12 am). If any of the shifts work for you, it'll be great to have you. Complete flexibility, so if only days or nights work with your schedule, we can make it work. For any events that have been scheduled beforehand, if you are also available to work them (typically on weekends) that will also be great! Thank you for your interest!
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning cooking equipment.
- Support cooks and chefs in various kitchen tasks as needed.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Cook, prepare meals and assist with serving food to customers when required.
- Knowledgeable in being able to operate the cash register.
- Able to multi-task when needed to help prepare orders, cook food, and operate the register.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Culinary skills with a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights and weekends (if applicable, excluding Sunday night shift).
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen duties.
- State Food Safety Handlers Certificate will need to be required, but if you don't have one we can set you up with a Food Safety Certification.
