Job Type: Regular Full-Time Work Hours: Monday-Friday (On-Site)
Effective Date: 4/21/2025 Exemption Status: Exempt
Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 (Commensurate with Experience)
Profit Sharing: Company Profit Sharing is available and varies based on the business results

Role Summary: The Construction Manager will oversee daily construction activities, manage project timelines, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and control budgets. The role also includes coordinating with inspectors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and on-budget project completion. Supervises: Field Construction Workers & Trade Partners
Essential Functions:
- Oversees and directs construction projects from conception to completion
- Reviews the project in-depth to schedule deliverables
- Oversees all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor building and safety regulations compliance
- Coordinates and directs construction workers and Trade Partners
- Meets contractual conditions of performance
- Reviews the work progress on daily basis
- Prepares internal and external reports pertaining to job status
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plans ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyzes, manages, and mitigates risks
- Ensures quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Required Education/Credentials/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is highly preferred
- Skilled in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, problem solving, and decision making
- Proven working experience in construction management
- Strong supervisory skills and the ability to manage and inspire a team
- Proficiency in budgeting and controlling project costs
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction safety laws and regulations
- Experience in project control and managing timelines
Preferred Education/Credentials/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Familiarity with construction management software packages

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
o Construction managers work both indoors and outdoors, typically splitting time between an office and construction sites
o They often work out of a field office at the construction site to monitor projects closely
o Job sites can be dirty and cluttered with tools, equipment, and construction debris
o The work environment can be noisy, with exposure to sounds from earth-moving equipment
o Construction managers may be exposed to various weather conditions when working outdoors
o They often travel between multiple job sites, some of which may be located great distances apart
- Physical Demands:
o Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
o Ability to traverse and inspect all areas of a jobsite in various weather conditions, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching
o Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
o Good vision to see details of objects both up close and from a distance
o Ability to sit for long periods, especially when working in an office setting
o Physical stamina to be on-call and respond to emergencies or issues at the jobsite, potentially at any time
o Capacity to wear protective equipment, such as hard hats, when touring construction sites
