What You Will Achieve
- Develop, monitor, and manage the approved capital budget for each project, ensuring best practices by considering quality, health, and safety implications.
- Collaborate closely with the wider Project Team, including the project and design teams, to deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as appropriate, continually reviewing and developing improvements.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, create contingency plans as necessary, and partner with project team members and contractors, assuming accountability for their assigned work.
- Manage the submittal of Requests for Information (RFIs) at the bid stage and during construction to ensure timely responses with the necessary information to advance the project. Review and process change proposals, proposal requests, supplemental instructions, and other contract documents.
- Review General Contractor bids to determine the awarded contractor and overall schedule, and work with the general contractor to ensure the project is delivered smoothly, on time, and within budget.
- Ensure the Architect of Record (AOR) has all required design elements, including internal markups, vendor markups, and shop drawings, incorporated into the set prior to bidding. Coordinate with the tenant’s design, operational, and technical providers to ensure accuracy in the development of the tenant’s construction documents and build-out.
- Lead weekly construction progress meetings, including preparing meeting minutes, schedule updates, and change order logs. Document all material submittals, shop drawings, and finish selections for approval.
- Perform site visits throughout the projects and attend punch list and handover meetings. Perform additional duties and projects as required.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in engineering, architecture, or construction project management from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience required.
- At least 4 years’ experience in retail construction.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects across various phases while keeping them on budget, delivering them on time, and maintaining a high standard.
- Excellent knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes uncertain environment.
- Enthusiasm for the company’s mission and a strong desire to contribute to its growth and success.
- Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time by land and air.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
