What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at POP MART?
1. On-Site Coordination & Operations Management
- Daily Operations Supervision: Monitor warehouse processes, including receiving, shelving, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure compliance with customer standards.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory audits, verify system data against actual inventories, resolve discrepancies, and analyze root causes; monitor inventory turnover, aging, and slow-moving items.
- Issue Resolution: Address inbound anomalies (e.g., damaged goods, quantity discrepancies), outbound errors, or logistics delays promptly, coordinating between warehouse teams and customer requirements. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance order fulfillment accuracy.
2. Customer & Third-Party Coordination
- Requirement Communication: Act as a bridge between the warehouse operations, conveying customized warehousing and distribution requirements (e.g., special packaging, priority shipping).
- Data & Reporting: Provide regular updates to internal teams on inventory status, inbound/outbound efficiency, exceptions, and improvement measures; support data analysis (e.g., inventory alerts, inventory turnover analysis).
- Service Optimization: Propose process improvements based on cross–functional teams’ feedback, driving warehouse teams to optimize workflows or system functionalities.
3. Quality & Compliance Control
- Operational Compliance Checks: Ensure warehouse operations adhere to customer quality standards (e.g., product storage conditions, labeling requirements), safety regulations, and industry laws (e.g., hazardous goods management).
- KPI Monitoring: Track key warehouse performance indicators (e.g., order accuracy, on-time delivery rate, shrinkage rate) to meet customer-defined targets.
- Audit Support: Assist third-party auditors in warehouse inspections, document verification, and process reviews.
4. Technical Support & System Maintenance
- WMS System Coordination: Ensure synchronization between the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and inner systems (e.g., ERP), troubleshooting system issues or interface problems.
- Process Training: Train warehouse staff on customer-specific procedures (e.g., special product handling, barcode scanning rules).
5. Cost & Risk Management
- Resource Coordination: Adjust warehouse manpower and equipment allocation based on business volume fluctuations to prevent capacity shortages or resource waste.
- Risk Prevention: Identify potential risks in warehousing operations (e.g., excess stock accumulation, equipment failures) and provide early warnings.
