What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff position at Pop Up Next Door?
Our company is looking for a PART-TIME EVENT STAFF!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Must have a reliable car as you are required to travel between the 5 locations (Elizabeth, Rahway, Morris Plains, Linden, & Edison) we have in NJ.
- Have some sales experience (not required)
- Must be and fluent (English and Spanish)
- Friendly & Outgoing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Must be available to work Monday to Thursday from 5-7pm during our Open Houses. Each day is a different location.
- Assist with setups for events on every weekend and make sure all the venues are decorated as needed.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday to Sunday) to assist with events. Hours will vary depending on the events. You will be working 10-20 hours per week.
- Answer phone calls (English and Spanish lines)-- This is done remotely ONLY.
1099- Position (you are responsible to pay your taxes at the end of the year)
