As the People Operations Manager you'll have a meaningful impact by supporting our Team to succeed in their roles by being the first point of contact for questions and managing critical people programs. This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller. You'll collaborate closely with our Finance, IT, and Leadership team to manage ongoing projects and deliver strategic people support companywide. This role will oversee all aspects of people practices and processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our company attracts, hires, develops, and retains the best employees while fostering a positive company culture.


This hybrid role entails working in the office 2 days per week in our Redwood City HQ.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:

  • Own the employee lifecycle including Pre-boarding, On-boarding, and Off-boarding
  • Be the go-to person to support our team with any benefit, working norms, and policy questions
  • Own our HRIS (ADP Workforce now) and People Team Tech Stack to ensure accurate data around people changes and updates
  • Analyze and report monthly and quarterly People metrics and demographics to measure impact, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to the leadership team
  • Manage and maintain the People Team Intranet page (SharePoint)
  • Respond to audit, unemployment, and employment verification requests

In addition to the day to day, key responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, partner with hiring managers and recruiters, and onboard new employees
  • Talent Management: Implement talent review process, support managers with employee feedback, develop performance improvement plans, and manage employee engagement surveys
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner on payroll, administer employee benefits, participate in audit processes, and ensure competitive compensation practices
  • Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Manage all immigration matters


REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in HR management or generalist roles, preferably in a high growth organization. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in Redwood City, California. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
