We are a Kansas City based technology startup looking to expand our team this summer!

Sales and Marketing Representative

ABOUT OUR COMPANY:

You could call us the "Uber for Event Staffing." We help companies hire people to work events. We have jobs posted for all of the biggest events like Coachella, South by Southwest, Super Bowl, Formula 1, and much more!

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING:

As a Sales and Marketing rep, you would be calling/emailing leads to sign up for our service. Once a customer signs up, you will earn ongoing commissions every time they book on the system. Your job is to make sure they sign up and continue to book.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

We are a small team and you would get a lot of individualized attention as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

We will teach you a lot of the task related parts of the job, however, we are looking for self starter types who can learn quickly in a fast paced environment. Startup life is all about being adaptable!

You must be tech savvy. We will be working on the computer and phones a lot with various apps and programs.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with Google Docs
• Experience with Hubspot or similar CRMs
• Good at Google Search and finding information on the internet

PAY:

Base Salary: $1,000/mo.

Commissions are 10% of total profit per customer you sign up.

Average customer profit is $150/mo. average $200 in transaction volume per month

Average # of new signups per month for part-time salesperson is 8.

We will be working in coworking spaces in downtown Kansas City Remote hours

SCHEDULE:

Flexible

(Looking for someone who could put in at least 15 hours per week to start. This is mostly a commission based position. The first month will be in-person, but can do some days at home as you become more self sufficient. We will work with you on a schedule that works for both of us. Must have availability Mon-Thurs during regular working hours.)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

This gig is great for salespeople that are looking to make extra side income. If you hustle the first year, you can create a passive revenue stream for yourself that continues to pay you. 💰

These are easy sales. Everyone we talk to is super friendly. We have tons of warm leads! Right now only the owner of the company is doing sales, but she does literally everything else for the company and still hits the sales targets mentioned above putting in only about 10 hours a week on sales tasks. 😮
