We are a Kansas City based technology startup looking to expand our team this summer!
JOB TITLE:
Summer Intern
ABOUT OUR COMPANY:
You could call us the "Uber for Event Staffing." We help companies hire people to work events. We have jobs posted for all of the biggest events like Coachella, South by Southwest, Super Bowl, Formula 1, and much more!
WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING:
This summer, we are looking for summer interns! We have a ton of special projects we would have you work on.
You will learn all aspects of a startup company and do a little bit of everything:
- Sales tasks
- Marketing Tasks
- Social Media
- Finance
- App Testing
WHAT TO EXPECT:
We are a small team and you would get a lot of individualized attention throughout the summer.
We are open to having the position be part time after this summer if it's a good fit and you would like to continue the working relationship during the school year.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
We will teach you a lot of the task related parts of the job, however, we are looking for self starter types who can learn quickly in a fast paced environment. Startup life is all about being adaptable!
You must be tech savvy. We will be working on the computer and phones a lot with various apps and programs.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:
- Experience with Google Docs
- Experience with Hubspot or similar CRMs
- Good at Google Search and finding information on the internet
- Social Media business page management or professional page
PAY:
$16/hr.
Looking for someone who could put in at least 15 hours per week.
Working hours are during regular business hours Mon-Thurs from 10am-4pm
START DATE:
Flexible based on class schedules
JOB LOCATION:
We will be working in coworking spaces in downtown Kansas City. The first month will be in-person, but can do some days at home later in the summer (and after school starts again - you can be remote if you wish to continue part time working for the company.)
Salary : $16
