About Us:
Let’s Work for Good (Popcorn for the People) is a nonprofit established to create meaningful employment for individuals with Autism and disabilities. We aim to combat the current 80% Unemployment Rate in the Autistic community with the training and hiring of adults with Autism to create, cook, package, and sell uniquely flavored gourmet popcorn.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable production associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the production process by assisting with various tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our production line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure and combine ingredients.
- Ability to measure and fill popcorn bags, cups, and sample bags accurately.
- Operate packaging machines and perform manual packaging when required.
- Operate various popcorn production machines effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and equipment used for popcorn production.
- Maintain cleanliness of packaging machines and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the order fulfillment area.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency in popcorn production.
- Ability to follow food safety protocol.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong team working and collaboration skills.
- Passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in food production.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a dynamic production environment.
- Learn and execute shipping procedures using UPS, USPS, and distribution team methods.
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely shipping.
- Attend vending events
