Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Must be at least 18 years old or meet local age requirements for employment.
