## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restaurant industry and possess excellent customer service skills.
## Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Ensure pricing is accurate
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Bag items carefully
- Upsell products and services when appropriate
## Experience
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to assist in kitchen or other areas as needed
- Ability to sanitate work area and handle food safely
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
