- Assist customers with their deli orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring satisfaction.
- Prepare a variety of deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers and scales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices or experience in a quick-service fast food restaurant is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts are essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks in a busy environment.
