Description
Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a full-time Professional Land Surveyor for our Penfield, NY office. This position will report to the Director of Land Surveying and will primarily be an office role, assisting with survey department operations and technical duties.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist in performing management duties, including:
- Cost Proposals
- Scheduling Field Crews
- Client correspondence
- QA/QC of survey deliverables
- Mentoring staff
- Ensuring proper field procedures are being followed
- Property and highway boundary research and determination.
- Technical survey duties (adjustments, mapping, etc.)
Qualifications:
- NYS Licensed Land Surveyor required
- 8 years’ experience in land surveying
- Must be experienced in records research and procedures of boundary line and highway boundary retracement.
- Must have experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD / Civil 3d
- Experience with Bentley Open Roads, a plus
- Experience with NYSDOT survey procedures, a plus
- Experience with terrestrial and/or mobile LiDAR, a plus
- Experience with sUAS, a plus
- The candidate must work well in a team environment

Good faith salary range is provided, and salary package will be commensurate with experience.
Salary : $95,000 - $150,000
