THE ROLE

The Logistics Supervisor works cross-functionally with internal and external partners to support the execution of logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. This role is responsible for supervising the movement of inventory throughout our network while ensuring optimal efficiency, and adherence to company, carrier and partner policies. This includes monitoring and managing transportation, cost savings and recovery, as well as arranging logistics and tracking performance related to distribution activities for poppi.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead, train, mentor and provide on-going support to team members; align on team goals to achieve key business deliverables, while providing support in employee growth.
• Oversee the transfer and distribution process, including appointment scheduling and performance for efficient and optimized operations. This includes co-manufacturers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight providers and customers.
• Manage the invoice reconciliation process, including validation of accessorial fees, billback identification, execution and reconciliation process to ensure valid and appropriate billing of activities to poppi.
• Implement best practices for cost control, transportation optimization and warehouse efficiency. Continually evaluate processes and challenge where necessary to ensure future logistics scalability to meet poppi's growth.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for transportation providers, warehouse partners, and internal departments. Give and receive feedback with honesty and candor to continue fostering positive partner relationships and beneficial change.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to in-network and B2B logistics activities; and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with internal and external partners to rectify issues or discrepancies related to shipments, inventory, or deliveries.
• Ensure all distribution activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  
  

WHAT YOU BRING

• Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMW), appointment scheduling platforms, accessorial fees, contract and spot rates, as well as key drivers of cost variability within logistics and 3PL warehouse operations.
• Understanding of 3PL warehouse operations and customer receiving requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to plan, communicate, and organize multiple priorities autonomously.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports and daily dashboards.
  
  

YOUR BACKGROUND

• 5 years of experience in logistics and fulfillment preferably within the food and beverage industry.
• 2 years of leadership and management experience.
• Experience in warehouse and inventory operations and/or supply chain required.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Power BI or Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
  

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.
• Travel for business related meetings

COMPENSATION

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $80,000- $90,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market, minimum wage requirements, and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
