The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $100,000- $110,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market, minimum wage requirements, and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and packaging components to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Draft, review, gain consensus, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels.
- Monitor market trends and global economic factors that may impact procurement costs.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and project management, to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and changes that may impact procurement processes.
- Work cross-functionally to mitigate waste and obsolescence exposure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving mentality, follow-through and tenacity.
- Multi-tasking with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a group.
- Commitment to excellent results and being proactive.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Procurement, Sourcing and Vendor Management.
- 4 years' experience in direct procurement
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management and/or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Food/Beverage CPG experience preferred.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- 20% of time spent with vendors, co-packers, trade shows/events.
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.
