Salary Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Summary / Objective
Helps provide guests with best possible experience by delivering high quality food accurately and efficiently, while maintaining our high food safety standards.
Essential Functions
- Correctly and safely uses all equipment.
- Have or obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and use such knowledge in day-to-day procedures.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Properly use chemicals and adheres to safety standards.
- Ensure safe and proper storage of food and equipment.
- Prepare and present food that meets food quality and guest satisfaction standards.
- Prepare and present food according to recipe and specifications
- Follow prep and pull/thaw standards to control food costs.
- Maintain station maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Maintain company safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards for entire kitchen area, including walls, drains and floors.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Comply with all Health Department Policies.
- Uphold the culture and standards of Santa Rosa Entertainment Company, LLC.
- Work hard to identify potential problems and communicate with supervisors and management to help prevent them from having an impact on guest experience.
- Maintain proper stock of supplies, communicating needs or shortages with management.
- Ability to grasp, lift, reach, crouch, stand, walk, and carry objects for long periods of time.
- A positive attitude.
- Uniform requirements: Safe and neat uniform consisting of black pants, black nonslip shoes.
- Other duties as directed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a kitchen environment. This role routinely uses electrical equipment, sharp knives, ovens, and other potentially dangerous equipment. Use of commercial appliances will be used. Proper training will be given prior to using any dangerous equipment. Employees in this role are frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, and cleaning chemicals.
Physical Demands
The employee is required to stand 100% of their shift, climb or balance; and stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, using proper lifting procedures.

Qualifications
Required
- Must have prior restaurant kitchen experience as a Line Cook.
- Be a team player. Look for opportunities to help another team member.
- Work hard to maintain and promote a positive work environment.
- Work days, nights, and weekends as necessary.
- Have the ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with many distractions.
- Have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Have the ability to move around the facility and walk or stand 100% of the shift.
- Have the ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and clean frequently.

- Must be 18 years of age and older.
- Have or obtain Food Handlers Certificate.
Preferred
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen.
- Bilingual a plus.
