Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
• Operate the cash register, handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter and kitchen areas, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
• Manage time effectively to handle peak hours while maintaining quality service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with operating a cash register is a plus.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is beneficial.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
