Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our Digital Team in Kansas City. As a Data Analyst at Populous, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and innovative environment. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about leveraging data to drive insights, support scenario modeling, and rapidly iterate over large datasets across similar design and business options.
What Your Day Could Consist Of:
- Identifying data needs and requirements for stadium projects by collaborating with architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
- Leveraging data from various sources, including demographic information, market research, and user feedback, to inform design decisions and improve stadium functionality.
- Supporting scenario modeling projects by synthesizing and integrating data across multiple datasets to provide innovative design solutions and inform decision-making processes.
- Analyzing data related to spectator behavior and preferences to create data-driven recommendations for improving fan engagement and satisfaction.
- Utilizing data visualization tools to present insights to internal teams and clients, facilitating informed discussions and decision-making in the design process.
- Assisting in the development of data-driven strategies for revenue generation, ticket sales optimization, and fan experience enhancement within stadium environments.
- Monitoring and analyzing data related to stadium operations, such as facility usage, maintenance needs, and operational efficiencies, to identify areas for improvement.
- Extracting data from websites, APIs, and documents to gather key inputs for analysis while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborating with project teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing measurement frameworks to assess the success of stadium design initiatives.
Requirements For Success:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, NoSQL, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with digital analytics platforms.
- Solid understanding of digital metrics, KPIs, and user behavior analysis.
- Technical prowess in gathering, cleaning, and transforming data using tools like Python and Excel.
- Experience with REST APIs is a bonus but not required.
- Data synthesis and integration skills, identifying key features and forging meaningful connections across multiple datasets.
- Strong experience in data visualization and storytelling using Power BI and Python/JavaScript libraries to guide decision-making.
- Passion for exploring AI-driven solutions to optimize processes, innovate, and drive business value.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data science, computer science, or digital analytics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Additional details:
- Travel will be required.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
