What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Veterinary Technician position at Poquoson Veterinary Hospital?
Poquoson Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our four doctor, AAHA accredited team. We practice high quality and progressive medicine and have full digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, and also work closely with specialists and emergency practices for continued patient care. We are a full service facility offering general medicine, surgery, advanced dental care, boarding, and grooming. We care for dogs, cats, as well as offering avian and exotic care. Qualified candidates must have graduated an accredited Veterinary Technology Program and be licensed in the state of Virginia. We will consider a new graduate and have excellent mentors for your continued development. Outstanding customer service, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as a compassionate/positive attitude, ability to work well within a team, and ability to work well under pressure.
This position requires working days, early evenings, and rotating weekends.
