Job Summary
The Director of Insurance Finance will be reporting into the SVP of Finance and Treasury and will be responsible for leading and managing the financial planning and analysis functions for the insurance division. This role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial health. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Develop and manage the annual budget, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans for the insurance division. Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives and growth plans.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights on performance metrics, profitability, and operational efficiency. Evaluate financial impacts of business decisions, including market expansions, and strategic investments. Coordinate Balance Sheet forecasting with support of the Insurance Finance team.
Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, financial statements, and management reports. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Oversee the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems and reporting tools.
Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and planners, providing guidance and support for professional development. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial planning and reporting processes. Implement best practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Assess and manage financial risks, including insurance reserves, capital adequacy, and investment performance.

Pay Range
You will also be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals. You will also be eligible to receive an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
