What are the responsibilities and job description for the MH Loan Coordinator position at PorchPass?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
o Underwrite new applications for Manufactured Housing, ensuring completeness and adhering to quick turnaround.
o Determining credit worthiness within the credit criteria policy, ability to repay, and clearing CIP/OFAC to ensure a quality pre-approval.
o Work deals to determine if a counteroffer can be made to get the customer within the credit policy guidelines.
o Complete relooks for collateral changes, pricing updates or additional details presented after initial application.
o Perform MLO calls with the customer to go over conditions and requirements.
o Request, and clear conditions on approved applications by working directly with the customer.
o Ensure AAN issuance is completed in required time frame.
o Communicate with customers, dealers, banking partners and peers regarding status of applications.
o Ensure compliance to all regulations are followed on each deal.
o Keep customers application, folders, documents, and notes up to date.
o Keep abreast of regulatory updates and changes.
o Communicate when bottlenecks, issues, system outages, or other business impacting issues arise.
o Work with Lending Operations management team regarding professional development.
o Obtain MLO license
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3-5 years of loan operations experience in lending with experience specific to Chattel and/or Manufactured housing lending.
- Strong knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled at prioritizing duties, working under time constraints, and handling multiple tasks, while remaining flexible to changing priorities and assignments.
PREFERRED QUALIFACTIONS
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- NMLS MLO License.
Pay: starting at $72,000 - $85,000 per year and dependent on experience plus eligibility for incentive plan based on team and individual performance.
