The Role : Product Manager – Implementations and Integrations

Summary

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the end-to-end deployment and optimization of multiple off-the-shelf (OTS) solutions within our growing fintech organization. This role requires someone who can balance hands-on product implementation with strategic roadmapping—ultimately guiding us from existing third-party software to proprietary solutions tailored for our business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure that each product is efficiently integrated, enhanced, and eventually replaced with in-house solutions as we mature.

Role Responsibilities

  • Implementation & Configuration
  • Own the full implementation lifecycle for multiple OTS products, ensuring that each solution is configured to meet business requirements and integrated with existing systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, internal IT, and engineering teams to manage technical tasks such as data migration, API integrations, and workflow customization.
  • Roadmap & Strategy
  • Develop a comprehensive roadmap that aligns immediate third-party software rollouts with the future transition to proprietary fintech solutions.
  • Prioritize product enhancements and custom development efforts in collaboration with engineering, design, and operations teams.
  • Customization & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify gaps in out-of-the-box functionality and spearhead creative solutions—whether through vendor add-ons, custom scripts, or in-house development.
  • Drive ongoing process improvement by monitoring product performance, capturing user feedback, and implementing iterative refinements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with business stakeholders (loan officers, operations, compliance, etc.) to gather requirements and define success metrics for each product deployment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors, negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and resolving escalations.
  • Project & Program Management
  • Plan and manage timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones for concurrent implementation projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Maintain clear documentation of project plans, risk assessments, and progress updates for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Transition to Proprietary Products
  • Work with internal product and engineering teams to scope out the proprietary solutions roadmap that will replace third-party tools in the long term.
  • Develop transition strategies, including user migration plans, data portability, and stakeholder training to minimize business disruption.
  • Change Management & Training
  • Lead training sessions, create user guides, and develop internal best practices to drive adoption and maintain consistent usage across teams.
  • Champion change management efforts, effectively communicating how new systems and processes will improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Compliance & Security
  • Collaborate with Business, Compliance, Legal, and InfoSec teams to ensure all new systems and processes meet regulatory, security, and data privacy requirements.
  • Monitor industry best practices and relevant regulations, adapting implementation plans as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5 years in product management, project / program management, or implementation roles within fintech, banking, or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong familiarity with SaaS-based solutions.
  • Understanding of APIs, data flows, and integration methods (REST, SOAP, ETL, etc.).
  • Basic proficiency in managing data migration, mapping, and normalization.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects on time and within scope.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, as well as common project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance short-term implementation imperatives with the long-term vision of building proprietary systems.
  • Keen problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Working knowledge of financial services regulations and how they impact software solutions.
  • Awareness of data privacy and security standards relevant to the finance industry.
  • Experience with CRM, Loan Origination Software, or Loan Servicing Software implementation or administration.

  • Creating Customers for Life
