Summer Camp Classified Instructor (Specialized Talent) for School Year 2024-2025
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Consideration will be given to any experience which provides knowledge, skill and ability in a skill area in which instruction is to be given.
- Sixteen days during the month of June, M-TH June 2nd- June 26th. Pay is $18/hour with one hour of paid planning time for every four hours worked.
- This is a seasonal/on-demand part time position based on program offerings;
- Computer skills required for program planning and information.
REPORTS TO: Tolleson ESD Summer Camp Coordinators
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Instructors develops, implements and guide recreation activities;
- Supervise children in sports programs, and/or recreation classes;
- Assist with special events;
- Supports recreation classes in activities such as arts and crafts, dance, drama, music, sports, and games,
- Prepare facilities and monitor activities.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Communication with the teaching staff, parents and general public.
- Provides safety in a classroom setting
- Performs other duties as assigned.
