The SAP Procure to Pay Senior Consultant is expected to engage in exciting and challenging, client-facing, project-based work with a particular focus on delivering world-class solutions based on SAP’s latest procurement solutions, including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Ariba. The Senior Consultant requires an entrepreneurial mindset and must have a strong desire to grow as a leader within our organization. They will be required to support actionable objectives for the organization, helping to sustain a culture of accountability and take a hands-on approach to execution. With this in mind, the Senior Consultant will be required to ensure our services' quality for our existing client base, support in the cultivation of relationships with new customers, support the development of new business opportunities, and support the continuous adjustment of our current and future offerings according to market demands.

Responsibilities
- Work on challenging projects in management, process, and technology consulting with a focus on the Automotive and Discrete Manufacturing industries
- Support team leaders with the overall strategic direction of the Business Field – Sourcing and Supplier Solutions
- Deliver to our existing and future clients the Sourcing and Supplier Solutions portfolio, which includes, but is not limited to, SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Ariba for both on-premise and cloud applications
- Help design and implement innovative solutions for our clients leveraging best practices in business processes and SAP
- Become a trusted advisor to our customers to actively shape the future of automotive and manufacturing
- Actively and continuously learn the most relevant and innovative skills and capabilities
- Develop and advance MHP's reputation within the North American marketplace
- Create and maintain relationships with customers, thought leaders, and industry experts
- Take over responsibility as (sub) project team leader
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent education.
- 4 years of work experience in consulting or in the automotive industry
- 4 years of SAP S/4HANA Procurement and/or SAP MM (Materials Management) experience (process & customizing)
- 3 full SAP lifecycle implementations
- SAP S/4HANA experience and/or training preferred
- SAP S/4HANA certifications preferred
- Strong domain expertise in the business area of Procurement
- Fluency in English (multi-lingual preferred)
- Professional demeanor with a strong customer focus
- Analytical and structured working attitude
Physical Requirements
- This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.
