Overview
Applicant must be Bi-Lingual. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, with expertise in leasing, contract negotiations, and compliance with legal regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen understanding of real estate administration, and the ability to effectively upsell property features to potential tenants.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.
- Oversee property leasing processes, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
- Negotiate lease agreements and contracts with prospective tenants while ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
- Utilize property management software such as OneSite for tracking leases, tenant communications, and maintenance requests.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess condition and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies for maximizing occupancy rates and enhancing tenant satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records related to property management activities, including financial reports and tenant files.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of properties.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants while addressing their concerns or inquiries efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate terms of contracts to tenants.
- Knowledge of real estate administrative practices and relevant laws governing property management.
- Proficiency in using property management software, particularly OneSite or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong upselling abilities to promote available properties and enhance tenant retention.
