Seeking Experienced Electricians, Licensed, journeymen, mechanic's..etc for Commercial & Industrial work primarily in the Broward, Miami and Palm Beach County area and throughout the state of Florida. This position is responsible for providing professional installation, per design plans of new and electrical systems and components.
Seeking to full fill positions for the following.
Seeking Electrical Project managers
Electrical foreman
Electrical Mechanics,
Electrical Apprentices
General Labor (General Construction experience and expectations needed and safety training, Limited to no electrical experience needed)
Service / Maintenance Electricians
Responsibilities
Execute plans of electrical layout, New service branch services and grounding, rough-in and trim out for lighting, lighting controls switch and LV controls dimming ..etc.,, electrical devices, and other electrical systems
Must have foresight on job, including planning ahead and identify issues in advance.
Must be able to write and schedule through material lists for job / jobs in advance.
Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems
Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
Must have DL and be able to read and write.
Must have NEC Code book and electrical tradesmen's tools.
Must be able to arrive to job site as scheduled.
Meet management performance and skill set expectations.
Skills
Proven experience as an electrician
Must be able to read and install based upon electrical plans, elevations, details and RCP, make written conduit layouts, circuit schedules and keep as-built records
Experience in industrial and / or commercial electrical systems
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines (lock out tag out, and temp power safety).
Be responsible and take Responsibility (Seeking advancement and recognition by Marritt of performance, accomplishment and leadership).
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Excellent physical condition and flexibility.
Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician or other college degree or courses a plus.
