We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team, responsible for inspecting and testing products throughout the process to ensure they meet established quality standards, including performing manual and automated quality checks, calibrating testing equipment, documenting findings, identifying defects, and reporting any quality issues to the QA manager; essentially acting as a gatekeeper to guarantee product quality and compliance with regulations.
Duties
- Conduct internal audits and inspections : weekly GDP assessments, assigning corrective actions, verifying CA’s, and recordkeeping.
- Glass and Brittle Plastics Inspections
- Random Compliance / Quality Inspections
- Identify, investigate and document non-conformances and deviations. Implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Investigate food safety incidents, such as product quality issues and recalls.
- Provide guidance and support to the team with regards to food safety standards and compliance
- Assist with implementing policies and processes.
- Assess the effectiveness of current policies and processes and recommend changes as needed.
- Maintain accurate compliance records for sanitation, maintenance, pest control, approved chemical list, etc. so that we are always audit ready.
- Promote Food Safety Culture – Leading by example, communicating requirements to all warehouse staff, coordinating training, holding employee accountable and recognize / reward employees who adhere to the rules.
