Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Professional to join our dynamic kitchen team at Port Ludlow Associates LLC. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food is prepared to order and meeting department standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food to order in accordance with quality food standards and written recipes
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Organize food and ingredients by checking for quality, tracking old and new items, and rotating stock to ensure freshness of products
- Set up, restock, maintain, and clean food preparation areas
- Monitor the quality and consistency of all food served from the lines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Current food handler's permit or ability to obtain one prior to hire
- Minimum 2 years cooking experience preferably in a high-volume kitchen
- Experience in sauté and grill stations
- Must be 18 years of age
- Effective communication skills with coworkers and the public
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
