CSO - Supervisor
General Position Summary:
Supervises CSO personnel, oversees the operation of the Cage Operations Department during assigned shift and ensures spectacular customer service to guests.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Safe guards company assets located with Cage Slots Operations
- Enforces rules and regulations of the department consistent with Gaming Ordinance, State Compact, Appendix X & X2, MICS, TICS and Employee Handbook
- Maintains custody and balances the Cage Slots Operations inventory, including currency, coins, checks, gaming chips, forms and records normally associated with the operation of the department
- Approves guests’ checks according to the casino policies
- Receives, distributes and redeems gaming chips according to policies
- Oversees the distribution of PME payroll checks
- Generates the revenue deposit
- Issues bank rolls to personnel
- Enters all data for bank rolls issued into the computer
- Verifies revenue drops
- Completes all reports required to maintain a smooth operation
- Responsible for handling employee disputes, training new employees, and providing input on training requirements
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain flexibility
- Resolves customer disputes including resolution reports
- Responsible for assigning stations for staff and ensuring breaks run smoothly in accordance to operation needs
- Oversees and assists staff in troubleshooting and operation of machines
- Flexibility to act in multiple positions during assigned shift
Secondary Functions:
- Supervises front line personnel
- Assists in writing evaluations and disciplinary actions consistent with PME policy
- Monitors, implements, and trains staff as required
- Promotes positive guest and employee relations (Spectacular service)
- Oversees and maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and employees
- Other duties as assigned
Specific Job Skills:
- Thorough understanding of MICS, TICS, State Compact, Department Internal Controls/ Policies & Procedures, and Port Madison Enterprises Employee Handbook
- General Supervision/ Managerial skills
- Good problem solving skills, including handling stressful situations and guest disputes
- Ability to multi- task and detail orientated
- Cash handling (vault volume) and/or gaming operation experience preferred
- Excellent math skills with a desire minimum of two years high volume cash handling
- Ability to communicate in a highly effective manner both in writing and verbally
- Ability to work with and motivate employees and work as a contributing team member
- Public relations skills
- Ability to follow and give directions
- Ability to problem solve and find solutions to complex situations.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma of GED required. Retail or customer service experience required. A minimum of two years of gaming experiences and 1 year of bookkeeping, or supervisory equivalent experience required
Job Conditions:
Conditions include working in a crowded, loud smoke-filled environment. Guest interactions may become stressful. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions and working evenings, weekends and holidays, including working a rotating schedule.
Physical Requirements:
Manual and finger dexterity for operation of computers. Ability to lift 25 lbs. And required to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
