What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aide-Special Education-Behavior Academic Class-Port Neches Primary position at Port Neches-Groves ISD?
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Paraprofessional Certification Training that meets NCLB requirements
OR minimum two years of study at institution of higher learning
(48 college hours) and/or Associate Degree required.
Experience: Educational Aide experience preferred
Licenses/Other: Eligible for state Paraprofessional Certification or such alternatives as may be
acceptable to the district. Documentation of Highly Qualified status.
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES
- Perform clerical duties for the professional staff
- Conduct learning reinforcement activities under the direction of the professional teacher
- Care for the personal, social, educational and health needs as required by professional staff
- Assist with and assume duties that will relieve professional staff
- Other duties as assigned by the principal
