Position Summary : Provides and maintains program and project control reports of engineering and construction projects. Provides customized project management application tools. Maintains project schedules for the Capital and Expense Projects Portfolio. Collects, interprets, and inputs data into the project control databases. Prepares Project Status reports and other related project planning and control documentation.
Key Responsibilities / Duties :
- Perform data management functions, including maintaining databases, entering and retrieving and analyzing data and creating and presenting reports; assist in maintaining data to support Port Houston capital projects programming; maintain orderly records to ensure the integrity of the system
- Design and implement project scheduling, reporting, and data analysis; monitor and track project schedule, cost, and scope
- Perform risk analysis on cost and schedule and conduct post project audits to collect data and make adjustments for upcoming projects
- Create forms and reports, receive and integrate data, and maintain reports on a monthly basis for both internal and external clients
- Define and gather user and business requirements for various application tools; define team requirements and research software programs
Interface with different project management teams and analysts from other departments
