What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Manager position at Port of Montana?
The Financial Manager position is responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
Financial Manager is also responsible for processing payroll; invoicing; accounts receivable; accounts payable; filing tax reports; processing purchase orders and other miscellaneous tasks related to accounting.
The Financial Manager may also handle various disbursements; assist with compensation, employee health care benefits, maintaining accounting systems, data bases and assist with account management as required.
Requirements :
- 4-year degree in accounting or related field.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Knowledge and experience of accounting computer applications.
- Experience with Quickbooks and Excel.
Salary : $45,000 - $52,000
