About the Role

As a Franchise Sales Support Manager, you will be the face of Port of Subs during Discovery Days, guiding prospective franchisees through our presentation and ensuring they have a clear understanding of our franchise model. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing inquiries, and helping to drive franchise sales by effectively communicating the value and benefits of joining our brand.

What You’ll Achieve

· Sales and Relationship Management:

  • Build rapport with potential franchisees and assess their suitability for our franchise model.
  • Follow up with attendees post-event to address additional questions and move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in the franchise industry to provide relevant information and insights during Discovery Days.

· Conduct Discovery Day Events:

  • Organize and manage all logistical aspects of Discovery Day events, including coordinating schedules, preparing materials, and ensuring the setup is conducive to a successful presentation.
  • Facilitate engaging and informative Discovery Day presentations for prospective franchisees.
  • Lead tours of our facilities, provide insights into daily operations and answer questions about the franchise opportunity.

· Customer Service and Support:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all Discovery Day participants.
  • Address and resolve any concerns or objections in a professional and effective manner.

· Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the franchise development team to understand current goals, strategies, and updates.
  • Provide feedback and insights on the effectiveness of Discovery Day events and suggest improvements.

· Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of Discovery Day events, participant interactions, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, participant feedback, and conversion rates to inform strategy and decision-making.

· Follow-Up and Relationship Building:

  • Conduct personalized follow-up communications with prospective franchisees after Discovery Days to address additional questions and move them through the application process.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with potential franchisees to foster trust and encourage successful partnerships.

· Compliance and Adherence:

  • Ensure all Discovery Day activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

· Community Engagement:

  • Engage with local communities and networks to build brand awareness and attract potential franchisees.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings to promote franchise opportunities.

· Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills You’ll Need to Bring

  • College degree and/or relevant work experience in business, marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in sales, preferably in franchise development, sales, operations, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Track record in sales, preferably in franchise development, sales, operations, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous operations/sales experience in the food industry is preferable.
  • Experience conducting presentations or leading group events is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire potential franchisees.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to build positive relationships with franchisees, third-party business partners, and colleagues.

Work Environment

  • This position reports to the VP of Franchise Sales.
  • This is a full-time, exempt role with benefits, offering the flexibility to work primarily from a remote location with travel to onsite conferences, meetings, and training based on the needs of the business.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands

  • Able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a stationary position for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to lift on a regular basis up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of performing a variety of movements including pushing, pulling, twisting, reaching, bending, and kneeling for up to 8-10 hours.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must pass a conditional post-offer background check.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must have valid vehicle insurance.
