Join our team as a New Restaurant Opener!
Are you passionate about helping others? Do you excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, and fun environment? Port of Subs is seeking a highly experienced, results-orientated New Restaurant Opener to join our team!
About the Role
As a New Restaurant Opener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch and transition of new and transferred restaurants within our franchise network. Working closely with the Franchise Business Consultant, you will oversee key operational tasks while guiding franchisees and their teams through essential systems, processes, and routines. This position requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to training and operational execution.
We are seeking individuals with prior restaurant opening experience who can thrive in various training environments, whether working one-on-one or with larger teams. You must be comfortable adjusting to different franchisees, team dynamics, and unique opening scenarios. Quick-service restaurant (QSR) experience is essential, along with the ability to quickly learn and navigate diverse situations. You must be able to adapt to quick changes, develop exit strategies for transitioning from intensive training support to ongoing check-ins, and ensure a seamless handoff for continued store success. Strong follow-up skills are essential, as you will be responsible for tracking training completion, evaluating store performance, and providing guidance where needed.
This role also requires a growth mindset, with the ability to not only follow existing training plans but also contribute valuable insights on how to enhance and expand training strategies. As the brand evolves, you will be expected to continuously refine processes to improve efficiency and franchisee support. Your ability to maintain organization, adapt to evolving needs, and execute structured training plans will be key to ensuring a smooth opening process and the long-term success of new and transferred locations.
