In addition to being praised for its exceptional golf experience, Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club is also well known as an award-winning tennis destination.
Outside Services Job Requirements:
- Greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival.
- Remove golf bags from cars and transport them to the staging area.
- Requires employee to communicate clearly in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Provide players with thoroughly cleaned golf carts.
- Stock each cart with pencils, divot mix, and towels when applicable.
- Perform periodic minor cart maintenance . Update cart service records.
- Ensure that the Cart Barn is always clean and orderly.
- Requires employee to safely operate a gas and/or electric cart.
- Service the practice range periodically throughout the day.
- Clean all members and guests golf clubs upon completion of play.
- Work closely with the Golf Shop staff to ensure that all club rules, including dress code and beverage policy, are followed by patrons.
- Requires handling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds of weight.
- Team members receive cash tips which can total over a couple hundred dollars per day in addition to their hourly wages.
