Help carpenters by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Install wooden structural components.

· Mark reference points on construction materials.

· Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly.

· Move construction or extraction materials to locations where they are needed.

·

· Assist with install walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.

· Assist with fitting and installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using carpenters level, plum bob and laser levels.

· Erecting scaffolding, ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.

· Assist with shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines or power saws

· Following established safety rules and regulations; maintain a safe and clean environment.

· Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

· Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate

· Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed

· Handles difficult situations effectively

· Assist with building or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools or power tools.

· Assist with assembling and fastening materials to make frameworks or props, using hard tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins or glue.

· Assist with removing damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools

· Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

· Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move up and down a ladder.

· Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires the ability to work flexible weekend and evening hours.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, and/or EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma/GED. Technical School Training preferred.

· 6 months to one year of working with an experienced carpentry.

· Experience working with equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts.

· Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete company specific safety orientation

· High standards of integrity and professionalism

· Good verbal and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and guests.
