POSITION: Aesthetic Nurse Injector

REPORTS TO: Medical Director and Operations Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing non-surgical aesthetic treatments as an Aesthetic Nurse Injector.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Possesses knowledge of non-surgical injectable procedures and device-based treatments, as well as skin care treatments and products
• Ability to manage patient education and questions for optimal outcomes
• Ability to work independently and motivated to help grow an up and coming medical spa
• Excellent communication skills for in office communication as well as digital/social media platforms and marketing support for non-surgical procedures and treatments
• Ability to work as a team member and refer patients throughout the continuum of care in the office, including coordinating patient care with other providers and cross-selling treatments
• Well-organized in managing patient needs and supporting educational efforts throughout office activities
• Treats patients and co-workers with respect

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Primary Duties

• Provide non-surgical aesthetic services including but not limited to neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRP/PRF, microneedling/RF microneedling, laser resurfacing procedures, laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, vascular laser treatments, hair restoration treatments, IV infusions, and any other requested non-surgical procedures.
• Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and physician will follow all accepted safe practices and all state laws pertaining to the supervision of practice for a non-physician provider performing patient services.
• Deliver care in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines that are developed by the physician and nurse practitioner to provide optimal non-surgical outcomes for patient treatments.
• Perform injectable and device patient treatments as agreed upon as well as certain skincare procedures to support estheticians in office if necessary and refer appropriate patients for surgery.

2. Secondary Duties

• Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner will prepare rooms, products, devices, etc. for use, document/record treatments in EMR, and clean rooms between each use.
• Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner will serve as provider of Good Faith Exams prior to Esthetician or RN treatment if required/directed to do so, or if physician is out of office.

CONSIDERATIONS FOR PRACTICE:

• Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner will be allowed to choose products that make the best outcome for each individual patient but will always follow office purchasing guidelines and not make product purchases without director consent.
• The Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner will have periodic meetings with the Medical Director and Practice Manager to review charts and ensure excellent treatment goals.
• Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner should attend all applicable educational or informational meetings with vendors or representatives selling products pertinent to Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner’s practice.
• Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner is encouraged to maintain an active professional social media presence for his or her practice, supporting both the injector and the practice in digital media coverage.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:

• Salary of $25-70/hour depending on experience and sales production.
• Experience is not necessary, training will be provided.
• The Position is initially PT, which can lead to a FT in a short time depending on the candidate's desire to learn, and build a patient base.
• Candidate may have access to complimentary non-surgical treatments at the director’s discretion.
• Practice will pay Malpractice Insurance for Candidate
