DAY/OVERNIGHT/SPECIAL ASSINGMENTS SECURITY OFFICER

***MUST HAVE VALID GUARD CARD and DRIVER'S LICENSE WHEN APPLYING AND WILLING TO APPLY  for TWIC WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM HIRE DATE"

***MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ONBOARDING AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE START DATE*** (ALL TRAINING paid at state minimum and paid after 1st week of employment)

***Looking for a responsible PER-DIEM officer to cover variety of call-outs, holidays, inclement weather, special assignments, etc. Fixed PART-TIME or FULL TIME hours possible depending on availability and performance.***

OVERNIGHT AND 2ND SHIFT HOURS MOSTLY AVAILABLE- LOOKING TO FILL UP TO 3-5 NIGHT SHIFTS DURING THE WEEK AND WEEKEND DEPENDING ON THE WEEK

SOME AFTERNOON AND DAYTIME SHIFTS AVAILABLE DEPENDING ON THE WEEK

PAID PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AFTER 1ST WEEK OF WORK (paid monthly training required)

HOLIDAYS PAID AT TIME AND HALF RATES (mandatory for new hires)

(Emergency/last minute/special projects calls will be paid at the higher level and/or bonus) 

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

• Possess VALID Security Officer License
• Have a VALID TWIC card (apply at tsa.gov)- MORE WORK OPPORTUNITIES IF YOU WILL GET IT
• Have a VALID Driver’s License
• PAID PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AFTER 1ST WEEK OF WORK (also paid monthly training required)
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience - Higher Education is a plus
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check
• Be fluent in English (read, write and speak)
• Have basic computer knowledge

Job Description (depending on post/site):

-Access control at the security checkpoints/gates (training provided)

-Log incoming/outgoing traffic in accordance to regulations (training provided)

-Patrols on foot and/or via vehicle (training provided)
