What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Level 2 position at Port Susan Camping Club?
JOB PURPOSE:
Performs a variety of tasks in the maintenance and operations of buildings, grounds, roads, open spaces, and recreation structures.
HOURS:
- Required to work 40 hours per week.
- Overtime is not expected, but may be required occassionally.
- May be required to work Holidays, weekends, and evenings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years old
- Valid Washington State Driver's License
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to provide references upon request.
- Able to work without immediate supervision
- Able to work with cleaners and chemicals
- Must be flexible to work unexpectedly (ie. Storm related emergencies)
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist with water main repairs and light well repairs
- Assist the Membership and Sales Department with utitlity repairs including water hydrats, electrical, and septic.
- Remove fallen trees
- Maintain culverts
- Weed eat and trim trees from around the roadside and common areas.
- Pick up garbage from all venues and centers as well as at the Beach and Lake.
- Assist others with site and street utility repairs and excavations.
- Provide traffic control during maintenance road shutdowns
- Provide traffic control during park wide functions as needed
- Repair roads and patch as needed
- Pressure wash and clean the exterior of buildings
- Drive company vehicles in a safe and thoughtful manor.
- Work in a public setting
- Work on special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
- Other duties as assigned
- Process firewood and provide Burn Pit attendant duties.
