Our client, a well-established global manufacturer, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their team.
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting, testing, and reporting on materials, components, and finished products during various stages of the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and quality standards to ensure compliance.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Inspect and pressure test machined, fabricated, electrical and composite parts, reporting any issues
found
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in an engineering discipline is a plus.
- Must be able to stand and lift more than 40 lbs.
- 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Must be security clearance eligible.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
