Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pedodontist to join our multi-specializing dental practice, we a multi-specializing in the oral health care of children from infancy through adolescence. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for pediatric dentistry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and supportive environment. As a Pedodontist, you will play a crucial role in educating young patients and their families about proper dental hygiene and preventive care.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations for children, assessing their oral health and development.
• Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Diagnose and treat dental issues such as cavities, misalignment, and other pediatric dental conditions.
• Perform procedures including root canal therapy and other necessary interventions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficient patient care during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic or similar electronic health record systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients and their guardians on proper dental hygiene practices and the importance of regular check-ups.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members to ensure a smooth workflow in the dental office.
• Stay updated with advancements in pediatric dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
