Overview:
As a Branch Manager for Porta Kleen’s Sanitation Division, you will lead day-to-day branch operations while driving safety, service excellence, and growth. This role is pivotal in overseeing people, processes, and performance to ensure we consistently deliver exceptional sanitation solutions across diverse job sites.
What you’ll do as a Branch Manager at Porta Kleen:
- Lead branch operations including workforce planning, equipment scheduling, and resource allocation across geographically dispersed sites.
- Champion safety by identifying risks, providing training, and enforcing Porta Kleen’s safety standards.
- Manage HR functions at the branch level including hiring, performance evaluations, development, and compliance with company policies.
- Own financial accountability, overseeing budgets, expenditures, and full P&L management.
- Develop and drive sales strategy—manage pricing, bidding, market growth, and customer retention while supporting direct sales efforts.
- Direct the Operations Manager in ensuring job quality, operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and team productivity.
- Maintain strong visibility in the field with regular visits to jobsites, customers, and employees.
- Execute long-term planning for manpower and equipment in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment.
What you’ll need:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of management experience, including direct oversight of HR functions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Background in industrial systems, operations management, or chemical/environmental services preferred.
- Project management and multitasking expertise, especially in safety-critical and equipment-intensive environments.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours in a hands-on leadership capacity.
