Apprenticeship Program
We are currently accepting applications for the position of Automotive Systems Trainer. This two-year apprenticeship program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the field of automotive systems maintenance and repair.
During this apprenticeship, you will receive hands-on training in the operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of vehicles and buses. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you will develop your technical skills and learn how to instill confidence, integrity, and skills in others to maintain the fleet safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing work safely, following safety work rules, guidelines, and procedures, and exercising maximum care and good judgment to prevent injury and accidents from occurring. Additionally, they will be expected to complete all formal training as assigned and progress through the training program to achieve the next level of certification as a Journeyman Mechanic.
Key Responsibilities
A valid State of Ohio Driver's License with no more than two points is required at the time of hire. A successful completion of previous employment verification, a criminal background investigation, and a post-offer Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examination including drug screen prior to hire is also necessary.
