Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will provide direct patient care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and assist with various dental procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering quality and compassionate care to every patient, delivering direct patient care under the general supervision of a dentist, and providing excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer same-day care.
You will also be responsible for educating patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction, assessing the dental condition and needs of patients, and reviewing patients' medical history. Additionally, you will guide parents and patients through our entire treatment process, adhere to all government regulations and company standards, and take x-rays and save them into patient charts when necessary.
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
- Guide parents and patients through our entire treatment process
- Assist with dental and perio charting; when necessary
- Take x-rays and save into patient charts, when necessary
