As an Accounting Assistant, you will be a key member of the accounting department, working closely with other team members to ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and performing other accounting-related duties.
Accounting Assistant Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Support the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support as needed
Accounting Assistant Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with financial reporting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
