The Role :

As a Forklift Operator at Porter Logistics, you will be the driving force of our day-to-day operation. Your primary responsibilities will be loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented and have experience safely operating a variety of lifts (sit down, stand up, cherry picker) in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a full-time hourly position requiring your presence at our warehouse facility on a daily basis. This is an opportunity to support our second shift from 1 : 30pm - 10pm Monday - Friday . The compensation for this role ranges from $18 - 20 / hour.

Key Responsibilities :

• Accurately pick palletized goods according to pick lists and safely move to designated staging areas within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring safe and efficient transport.
• Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
