Experienced Immigration Paralegal
We are a woman owned boutique law firm with excellent reputation among our clients and colleagues in Florida.
We are looking for an experienced immigration paralegal (5 years minimum) to join our energetic team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in removal cases as well as in family, and humanitarian cases. Must be computer savvy, organized, pay attention to detail, self-driven, and have professional oral and written communication skills.
This position requires to be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Knowledge of MyCase and Docketwise systems is a plus.
The summary of the duties is as follows:
1. Investigate, compile, and digest facts of the case.
2. Research and analyze legal sources.
3. Prepare appropriate forms regarding client matters before the Departments of Homeland Security, State, and Justice.
4. Draft correspondence to and communicate with clients, courts, attorneys, etc.
5. Coordinate with client to assemble documentation, complete
questionnaires and forms, review case status, etc.
6. Develop, maintain, and administer tickler system, database, master dockets and calendars.
7. Work closely with managing attorney and oversee other paralegals and clerks.
