Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on identifying sales opportunities in the Western US and Canada, primarily working from the office. You will collaborate closely with a business development rep handling the Eastern US and pass leads and opportunities to a team of account managers. There may be limited outside sales responsibilities focusing on the Portland Metro area with an occasional overnight trip to Seattle, Central Oregon, or Eastern Washington. This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Western US and Canada.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients through research and outreach.
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Provide regular updates on sales progress and identify trends and market opportunities.
- Engage in limited local travel, including overnight trips to Central Oregon, Southern Oregon, Seattle, and Eastern Washington for outside sales activities.
- Work closely with the Business Development Representative handling the Eastern US region to align efforts and maximize sales impact.
- Attend sales meetings and trainings to enhance skills and product knowledge.
