Job Summary

• This position is based out of our Clackamas Facility: 16800 SE Evelyn St
• The schedule for this position is: Monday - Friday, 7am – 3:30pm
• Pay range starts at $21/ hour for entry level; wages are higher for candidates with prior experience
• 3 weeks of paid time off to start
• 9 additional paid Holidays each year

The Material Handler is responsible for accurately entering all required receiving information into the existing ERP system. This position accurately moves materials both physically and in the ERP system to ensure location accuracy. The Material Handler also stages materials for the batching department in preparation for upcoming production jobs.

Essential Functions

• Receives product, unloads trailers and enters production into inventory
• Monitors and controls movement of material
• Tracks and rotates product by expiration dates, disposing out of date product
• Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements
• Computes amount of material required to complete job orders.
• Verifies material availability, arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Compiles and maintains computerized records such as material inventory, in process production reports, and status and location of materials.

Experience and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 1 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on receiving
• 1 years of ERP experience
• 1 years of experience operating a forklift
• Prior experience with daily use of MS office, such as Outlook and Excel
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work across departmental teams to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence
• Good basic math skills – the ability to add, subtract, multiply
