Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Salem, OR. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Day-to-day tasks include processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, and assisting with budget preparation. The Accountant will also perform audits and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
